ASAŞ operates in Aluminum Profile, Composite Panel, Aluminum Flat Products, PVC Profile, and Shutter production facilities covering a total area of 923,000 m², with 300,000 m² of closed space, in its Akyazı and Karapürçek campuses, providing services to its customers.

We are looking for a teammate to work as a "Technical and Investment Purchasing Specialist" to be assigned within the Purchasing organization at our Sakarya/Akyazı factory location.

What kind of teammate we are looking for

• University degree (BS/MS) in Engineering Deparments (Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering etc.),
• Minimum 2 years of experience in technical and investment purchasing experience, investment experience,
• Excellent command of English both written and spoken (interviews will be conducted in English),
• Proficiency in MS Office applications,
• Have application knowledge about SAP MM Moduls,
• Good communication skills,
• Having strong negotiation skills, having a good grasp of the details of the goods and services purchased, knowing the alternatives and market conditions, and being able to reflect this information to the business results,
• Analytical thinking, Result oriented, Strong communication skills,
• No restrictions to travel in and abroad.

What Do We Expect from Our New Team Member?

• To provide the demanded needs with the most suitable conditions (quality-price-delivery) in order to meet the technical goods and services procurement needs of the company.
• Developing the supplier portfolio and evaluating the suppliers, preparing a supplier visit plan and ensuring its implementation, reporting.
• Ensuring the development of purchasing processes.
• To contribute to the profitability of the company by taking all kinds of measures to reduce the purchasing cost.
• To get detailed information about material specifications and specifications, if any, by contacting the needing department, quality control, manufacturing departments so that the material to be purchased is suitable for its intended use.
• To make continuous market research, to receive offers and samples in order to increase the material and vendor alternatives and to ensure vendor reliability with the aim of purchasing the material to be purchased at the prescribed quality, price and time.
