We are looking for a Production Manager experienced in assembly line production systems for our leading and pioneering company located in Kocaeli, which is a 100% foreign-owned enterprise.

General Qualifications

• Preferably a graduate of Mechanical, Industrial, or related engineering departments from universities,
• At least 15 years of experience in the field, having managed a team of at least 200 people, preferably with experience in the assembly line production sector,
• Advanced proficiency in English,
• Actively involved in production processes, process development, lean manufacturing, improvement, and management activities,
• Possesses reporting and presentation skills,
• Knowledgeable in Quality Management standards and procedures,
• Experienced in the development and management of employees under their responsibility with strong leadership qualities,
• Experienced in project management,
• Possesses organizational planning, coordination skills, and well-developed problem-solving abilities,
• High proficiency in goal setting and interpreting financial data.

Job Description

• Monitor the status of planned sales orders and create daily production schedules,
• Ensure the production is carried out with the desired quality criteria, on time, and at the lowest possible cost by coordinating between departments and using the production resources efficiently,
• Calculate the required human and machine power according to the production schedule, optimize production assembly lines, and inform the Plant Manager about working conditions such as overtime and setting up new shifts,
• Ensure data collection for analyzing OEE, provide the relevant documentation, and conduct activities to increase OEE,
• Report the performance indicators of the processes under their responsibility to the Factory Manager on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis,
• Determine the investment needs of the department and carry out or oversee the necessary work for budget preparation,
• Monitor the spare parts of all machines and request orders from the procurement department based on critical safety stock levels.
